Susanna Yoko Henkel at the Bachwoche Ansbach in 2009
Susanna is looking forward to again participating in the renowned Ansbacher Bachwoche. The artist, who released a highly praised recording of all Bach Solo Sonatas and Partitas in 2006, feels especially connected to the work of Johann Sebastian Bach. At August 2, 2009 Susanna Yoko Henkel will perform a Matinee concert at the Orangerie Ansbach together with pianist Itamar Golan.
Susanna Yoko Henkel recorded duo works from Halvorsen, Kodaly, Eisler and Schulhoff together with her cellist brother Tonio Henkel. The new CD will be out on May 22nd, 2009.
